Although we are all individual practitioners we, uniquely in Edinburgh, work as a great team. Our patients benefit not only by seeing the practitioner they choose but also from having access to a multi-treatment approach with referrals to other Albany Street experts as necessary.

Aromatherapy massage, Hot stone massage, Indian Head Massage, Reiki, Therapeutic Massage
Jenny Messer started out her career in massage therapy after qualifying in Aromatherapy Massage with a diploma from the Academy of Aromatherapy & Massage (Scotland) in 1999. She has since gone on to expand her skills over the years adding Japanese on-site Massage, Indian Head Massage & Reiki to her list of skills and treatments.
In 2005 Jenny trained in Hot Stone Massage with the Jing Institute of Advanced Massage Training which she finds an effective addition to treatments, as well as offering as a therapy in it's own right. She has since continued her professional development with them in advanced clinical massage techniques such as trigger point therapy, myofascial techniques and advanced stretching. Jenny finds these skills have made a significant, positive difference in the treatments that she gives, especially in treating chronic muscular pain and tension.
Jenny is also trained in pregnancy massage and enjoys tailoring this treatment to benefit women throughout all stages of pregnancy. She is happy to discuss treatments with potential clients before they book an appointment. Jenny gained a degree with distinction in Adult Nursing from Napier University in 2011 and works for NHS Lothian as a Staff Nurse. She has found that better knowledge and understanding regarding healthcare complements her massage practice on a daily basis.
